Rajasthan to decide on RBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams today

New Delhi: The Rajasthan government on Wednesday (June 2) will take a decision on conducting or cancelling the state board examinations. A decision regarding Class 10 and 12 exams of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE) will be taken today at a cabinet meeting. Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra took to Twitter to announce the meeting after CBSE and CISCE decided to cancel Class 12 Board examinations on Tuesday. Former Rajasthan CM Jagannath Pahadia dies of COVID-19, Ashok Gehlot condoles death

Jaipur: Former Rajasthan chief minister Jagannath Pahadia has died due to COVID-19 at the age of 89. The chief minister of Rajasthan in 1980-81 and also a former governor of Haryana and Bihar, the veteran Congress leader died on Wednesday. Pahadia was undergoing treatment at Delhi's private hospital. His wife is also admitted to the hospital. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said he was very shocked by the demise. Gehlot tweeted, "Pahadia left us because of COVID. I am very shocked by his demise. He had a lot of affection for me right from the beginning." New Delhi: As a large part of the country continues to remain under strict curbs due to the raging COVID pandemic, several states and Union Territories including Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh extended till May 17 their ongoing lockdown.
